Mission & Values

Our Mission

Summer Science Camp exists to promote life-long learning for students in the areas of math, science, technology, and engineering by creating a fun and exciting environment of hands-on experimentation, discovery, and innovation.

Our Values

We realize that our mission is only accomplished through the generosity of those that put their faith and confidence in our work. Therefore, we strive to uphold our values in all that we do.

  • Integrity, Trust, and Accountability: We will act with integrity, openness, and honesty in all relationships, dealings, and transactions. We say what we mean and mean what we say. We honor our word and keep our commitments. We are proud of the professionalism, competency, and dedication that exists throughout our organization. We will keep faith with the public trust through efficient, cost-effective, and compassionate management of resources. We remain committed to strengthening the governance of our organization in order to improve transparency and accountability.
  • Partnerships: We place a high value on building partnerships with members of our community to assure we understand their needs and continue to deliver the services they desire in the most effective manner possible. Take a look at our corporate and community partners.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: We strive for excellence in the quality and productivity of our work. We create an environment in which we look for new solutions and experiment with innovative ways to do things – even if they don’t always work the first time. We recognize the need to be dynamic in meeting the community’s changing needs.
  • Respect and Diversity: We recognize and appreciate the uniqueness of each individual. We value the contribution made and the synergy created by different experiences and perspectives. We are committed to treating each and every person within our organization and the community with respect and dignity.
