BEGINNING GAME CODING AND COMPUTER SCIENCE Grades: 9th-12th
- Workshop Lead: Kunal Mishra, Student (UC Berkeley, Public Health/Computer Science —11 Year SSC alumni, Team Science Mentorship participant)
- Workshop Description: Computer Science (CS) is really all about teaching you how to be very good at being very bossy and about getting what you want. As a programmer, your job is to give orders to the computer through the use of a “language” that the computer understands. In this workshop you will learn how games and apps are made and you will learn this by coding a game called Hog.
- Prerequisite: Strong in mathematics and science or completion of Algebra 1.
